Edgar Centre, Friday 22nd April. In the Men’s Open Doubles the top seeds Conrad Wong and Matt Foo from OSCA and the second seeds Allan Wong and Rex Lim moved through to the finals without too much difficulty. The finals match was expected to be very tight but the combination of Conrad and Matt proved to be superior to their more experienced opponents, with strong service games and dominating the net. Cousins Rarchyn Makea and Tasman Watkins showed their skills in winning the plate event.

The final of the Women’s Open Doubles featured OSCA's Brittany Wong and Jessie Watson playing the mother-daughter combination of Rhonda and Deborah Ngan from Canterbury. The top seeds from OSCA showed the benefits of their high level competitive experience with a faster, harder hitting game.

The Social Mixed Doubles final was an all OSCA event with the brother-sister combination of Conrad and Brittany Wong facing Matt Foo and Jessica Bing. The OSCA siblings managed to win without needing to have an on-court argument.

Otago-Southland deservedly won the tennis team prize, after making a clean sweep of all events.
