Youth Award 2013

The deadline for applications has been extended to 22nd March 2013

Our Association has benefited over the years from the contribution of many young, up and coming members.  To recognise their contribution, our Association has decided to introduce a Youth Award to recognise youth leadership and outstanding contribution of individual young members.

The award is a maximum of $500.00 per annum to be awarded to such a recipient or recipients as the committee may determine each year.  The criteria are as follows:

  1. The recipient must be a current financial member of OSCA, either through individual or family membership.  A recipient must have held a minimum of three years’ membership of OSCA.
  2. The recipient must be able to demonstrate (i) leadership and (ii) outstanding or longstanding contribution to OSCA.
  3. The award is to be given purely at the discretion of OSCA. There is no compulsion to grant anyone an award in any year. If OSCA believes that there should be more than one recipient of the award in any one year, then it may grant more than one award that year.
  4. Nominations are to be made by a financial member to the Committee for consideration.
  5. The Committee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Applications for the 2013 Youth Award are now open.  The application forms in MS Word and PDF formats are downloadable from the links below

Applications close at the end of February and the award will be announced after Easter 2013.

Yours faithfully
